The Regional Jobs Support and Incentive Program is designed to support eligible workers with costs involved with eligible work in eligible regional locations. Applications close 30 June 2022 or when the program is full.

Financial assistance for workers relocating for short-term agricultural work

You could be eligible for up to $6,000 by taking up work in agriculture.

This financial assistance is to help with the costs of travel and accommodation when you relocate to take up short-term agricultural work.

This Federal Government relocation assistance incentive AgMove is now available to help pay your relocation costs.

Australian workers

You could get up to $6000 if you are an Australian worker. You will:

  • have your relocation costs covered up to $2000 after completing 40 hours of work in at least two weeks
  • get up to a further $4000 of relocation costs after completing 120 hours of work in at least four weeks.

Visa holders with the right to work in Australia

You could get up to $2,000 if you are a visa holder with the right to work in Australia. There will be up to:

  • $650 for relocation costs after completing 40 hours of work in at least two weeks
  • a further $1350 for relocation costs after completing 120 hours of work in at least four weeks.
